I've bought a new DSLR ..... now what??
NEPG Member, Paul Sauter, runs a free Introductory Camera Workshop for NEPG members (or members-to-be).
Paul will show you the main controls of your camera, including those for focussing, shutterspeed, aperture and ISO, and how they affect exposure, depth of field and movement.

Email your projected images to the competition director by 7 pm on the Saturday prior to the competition at projected@nepg.com.au. Further details are on this website under Competition Rules.
How do I size my projected images for competition?

Where can I get my prints made?
There are a number or pro labs that will produce a high quality print from film or digital file. Fitzgeralds in Fitzgerald St and Churchills in Railway Parade Leederville are two of the leading firms. Alternatively, Kmart, Harvey Norman or any of the smaller photo shops will offer an automated service. Price usually indicates quality.
Where do I buy matt and backing boards?
Sharon Hu (NEPG) sells print mounts, as does Tony Hopkins from Fremantle camera club (tel 62931551). Mounts can also be purchased from the WAPF
How can I make my own matt boards?
Speak to a committee member about what is required.
