Subjects for 2020 are as follows:


January 2020 – Landscape  {Any ‘scape’ that includes a component of the Earth’s surface.}

February 2020 – Portrait – Environmental {An image about a living person involved in an activity.}

March 2020 – Mono – Street Photography {An image about a chance encounter and/or random incident within a public place.}
                              (A Monochromatic image must be an image toned with a SINGLE hue or, Black & White).

April 2020 – Close Up – Living Thing/s {An image that reflects the small/fine detail of a living thing (excluding humans).}

May 2020 – Odd Couples {An image with two differing subjects that might be at odds with each other, unlikely pairing, opposites, or                                                     conflicting.}

June 2020 – Candle Lit {An image in which the only light source is from a candle or candles. The light source can be in the image.}

July 2020 – Symmetry {Look for symmetry in architecture and nature, but don’t ignore human and animal subjects. Smaller details, like                                             hands or feet, often make for the perfect symmetrical photo.}

August 2020 – Silhouettes {Forming a distinct contrast between light and dark, silhouettes highlight one or multiple subjects. Ensure                                                      your subject is backlit.}

September 2020 – An image that starts with the Letter “P” {The main element in the image must start with the letter “P”.}

October 2020 – Australiana {The term denotes any items, people, places, food, flora, fauna, and events of Australian origins. An image                                                         which depicts anything that is Australiana.}

November 2020 – Music {Instruments, concerts or even conceptual photos that invoke thoughts of music.}
