The NEPG Photoshop Interest Group (known affectionately as PIG) is for NEPG members (“piglets”) who are interested in the technicalities of editing still images with Adobe’s Photoshop (including ACR) and Lightroom. PIGmeets take place at the NEPG clubrooms whenever a month has a fifth Wednesday, at 7pm. The usual format is that someone demonstrates a technique, tool, or workflow. Sometimes we’ll have a special show such as the Frankenfoto Show, when people showed images composed of parts which had been made available earlier.
Members are encouraged to bring along any problem images for discussion, as well as any AI images they may have made. As there is no competition, there are no rules or limits, so you can bring whatever creations you think might interest the others, but usually in the form of a jpeg on a thumb drive. Meetings are very informal and piglets are welcome to raise any issues they want.
Piglets enjoy getting their snouts into hot drinks and nibbles which are provided, and generally chatting to fellow piglets about editing issues.
You join PIG simply by asking Mark Greenland to put you on the PIG mailing list. You can contact Mark at:
