Photographers like to go out! So, apart from the regular twice-monthly meetings in the Hall, NEPG regularly organises outdoor activities. These include Events, which involve excursions lasting a few hours to a full day, visiting actual events or outdoor locations in the Perth region. There may be some educational activities, or links to an upcoming competition, but they’re mainly events to get together as a Club, and take the opportunity to take some nice images! The Events Director ([email protected]) looks after the organisation.
Outings are longer excursions outside of Perth. They obviously take a bit longer, from a weekend to up to a week, and involve some driving and accommodation (from motel rooms to caravans or tents). They are organised once or twice a year, by members of the Committee, and may involve other WA photo clubs.
